Edmund Page Biography

Edmund Page is a classical guitarist with an extensive repertoire
including pieces by Torroba, Tarrega, Villa-Lobos, and Augustine Barrios.
These are included on his first CD, Reflexiones de le Guitarra and represented
several years of study into the Spanish and Latin American guitar styles.

Appreciative of Grieg’s orchestral music, Edmund decided to arrange the
Peer Gynt Suites for classical guitar. Through painstaking revision, he has
achieve arrangements which retain much of the subtlety and interplay of
the orchestral performances in a very approachable form.

These iconic compositions along with other Grieg works are available
on his new CD, Peer Gynt for Guitar which is available from January 29th at
Amazon, I-tunes, CD baby and other outlets.

In association with the music of Grieg, he has developed the Ibsen play of
Peer Gynt into an enchanting tale of adventure set with highlights of the
Grieg arrangements and planned for publication later in 2016.

Edmund performs in Northern Virginia area and enjoys arranging beautiful
music not normally associated with the classical guitar.

Born in England, Edmund lives in with his wife and children in Virginia.
